ServiceMaster Facility Maintenance is a commercial janitorial cleaning company headquartered in Vancouver, Washington. The company is a franchise of ServiceMaster Clean®, conducting business in Clark County and Southwest Washington.  ServiceMaster Facility Maintenance started green cleaning in 2007, working steadily towards becoming Green Seal approved.  We take pride in announcing our certification was awarded July 1, 2009.  We will continue providing an exceptional level of service to clients, and take extra care, to make sure personnel share the same dedication to excellence.

ServiceMaster Vancouver History

In 1994, after nearly thirty years in business, Jerry and Elaine Mitchell wanted to own their own business.

With a background in the service industry, Jerry and Elaine found the commercial janitorial business an interesting opportunity.  The pair went to work part-time for ServiceMaster Building Maintenance of Vancouver while maintaining their regular jobs.

In late 1995, Jerry and Elaine became partners with the operating owner and In early 1996 they purchased the business and the ServiceMaster Franchise outright.  They become the full-time owners under Adirondack Services Inc., d.b.a. ServiceMaster Facility Maintenance.

At the time the business had only 8 active accounts.  After several years of growth and marketing success, Kory Mitchell joined the company in sales.  Today, ServiceMaster Facility Maintenance provides commercial services and commercial cleaning services to over 100 businesses, covering both Clark and Cowlitz Counties.

Kory Mitchell was made General Manager in early 2006. Elaine Mitchell continued her excellent efforts as President and head of operations.  Under doctors advice Jerry Mitchell stepped down from full time participation in the business. In 2005 Jerry retired, however he still provides counsel on operations, finance, and public relations.

In 2007, a web site, ServiceMasterVancouver.com was developed as the company started providing Green Cleaning services and products to customers.

ServiceMaster Clean® and its predecessor companies have been providing professional cleaning services since 1929.  ServiceMaster is now an international company with franchises located throughout the United States and many foreign countries.
